Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian and TV personality most well-known as host on The Talk, a popular talk show that airs on daytime TV. Born in Arkansas she grew up within Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised in an extremely difficult household. She spent most of her childhood taking care of her sister Frankie who suffered from an illness called polio. When she was a kid, her relations with her mother were not always smooth. Sheryl says that at one point she cut her father's hair due to his proximity. When she graduated from college Sheryl was a soldier in the military. Her interest was in comedy. She was selected as the first ever female finalist of the Miller Lite Comedy Search, that was held in the year 1989. She began her TV profession in the year 1992, when she became a regular performer in the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she hosted Oh Drama! Oh Drama! She has appeared as host of The Talk since 2011. She has also appeared as the fictional character in TV shows such as Bulworth Nicki and Beauty Shop.
